This website is designed to draw you into a place of quiet rest. You won’t find many how-to posts around here (unless you subscribe to the homeschooling list!), but you will find meditative and inspirational encouragement as together we flesh out this holy, Spirit-led life.

My Heart:
Here’s how it went down. He was walking along wearing a blue bandana and carrying a guitar case. There were sparks and fire in belly but we waited four long months before saying hello. (When introverts romance… ) But then we met and we knew that we knew that we knew, so we married.
There was a good year and a hard year and another good-hard year, then the years were good and good before they were hard, very hard and hard. Since then they’ve been good, better, good, good, and good. Now we’ve reached that point where we wonder how we ever managed to be happy as newlyweds because goodness, we knew nothing! I like being married to this man.
The children came in this order: Boy, Boy, Girl, Girl, Boy, Girl.
They have completely overtaken my heart.
The lines have fallen to me in pleasant places; indeed, my inheritance is beautiful to me. ~ Psalm 16:6
