Hi! I’m a Wife, a Mama, and a soulful, grateful Jesus Follower who loves to wend words, weave stories and speak hopeful, joyful truth.
This website is designed to draw you into a place of quiet rest. You won’t find many how-to posts around here (unless you subscribe to the homeschooling list!), but you will find meditative and inspirational encouragement as together we flesh out this holy, Spirit-led life.
Sign up for SURVIVOR SONGS, my monthly devotional (delivered to your inbox!) written for of us who have lived a life and have survived to sing about it, but tailored specifically toward Survivors of Sexual Abuse. (Tell a friend about this resource!)
Journey with me through the Gospel of John via Wednesdays In The Word or read thoughts on faith, culture, marriage and parenting by signing up to receive all blog posts via email.
Do you HOMESCHOOL? Receive my Homeschooling Newsletter for Give-Aways, Special Offers, Practical Tips and the kind of full-hearted encouragement that can only be dished out by a fellow parent-in-the-trenches.
I am a SPEAKER available to share at your event or small group on any of the topics highlighted above. Contact me for more information.
Here’s how it went down. He was walking along wearing a blue bandana and carrying a guitar case. There were sparks and fire in belly but we waited four long months before saying hello. (When introverts romance… ) But then we met and we knew that we knew that we knew, so we married.

Since then they’ve been good, better, good, good, and good. Now we’ve reached that point where we wonder how we ever managed to be happy as newlyweds because goodness, we knew nothing! I like being married to this man.
