Beginning tomorrow I am launching a new weekly series called Wednesdays In The Word. We will work our way quite slowly through Scripture, musing over a few verses at a time. These studies will not be fancy. They will, however, be real, and open to discussion, and written with an eye toward community. Some weeks will find us digging into the Word of God with intensity, and other weeks we will simply pause to meditate. I hope to grow in the presenting, and I hope to pull the curtain back on grace and inspire growth in you.
Mine is a tired mind and an often spacey Mama-brain. I do not feel fit for the task of presenting Scripture. Nevertheless I’m diving in with all my heart, and am hoping you’ll join along! Tell a friend, and come breathe for a few minutes each Wednesday as we simply take in the Word of God.
May these words of my mouth, and this meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O LORD, my Rock and Redeemer.
A note: “Wednesdays in the Word” seems like such an un-original title, but I can’t think of anything else to call this! I can’t even decide whether to capitalize “In” and “The.” If you have an opinion or an idea, let me know.
(I did do a Google search figuring that there must be a million such series so obviously named. I didn’t find a million, but I did find one rather enticing one–have any of you been introduced to Life Today’s Wednesday in the Word weekly video series primarily featuring Beth Moore? Here’s a link. I can’t wait to incorporate this into my own weekly schedule!)
